It’s nice when tech companies get into the giving spirit of Christmas, even if it is on their own terms. Apple has just announced that it plans to gift UK iTunes users 12 free downloads over Christmas, but it’ll be up to them what exactly you’ve access to. The deal will run from December 26th, till January 6th (or the ‘12 days of Christmas’ for those unaware), and – providing you let Apple and iTunes know you’re keen by handing over your email address, the online store will gladly shove you a free song, film, TV show, app or music video. Exactly what it’ll be on each day is up to Apple, but the company claims that the list will be populated by “some of the biggest star performers on iTunes”. That’ll be N-Dubz, then.
